34th International Piano Competition
The Municipality of Albenga organizes the 34th “Città di Albenga” International Piano Competition - 11th “Maria Silvia Folco” Memorial to be held on 28 and 29 December 2021.
For this edition, given the Covid-19 emergency still in place, the possibility of any lockdowns or restrictions and the legislation relating to the green pass, the selection procedure for the 2021 edition will take place in a mixed formula, or partly online. , and partly in presence.
For the Pulcini Categories, A, B, C and D , the audition will be online only, by sending a video containing the performance via We Transfer to the following e-mail address: pianisticoalbenga@yahoo.it. The winners of these categories will in any case be required to participate in the concert of the absolute winners, which will be held in person on the evening of 29 December 2021.
For categories E, F, G and Excellence , on the other hand, there will be an online preselection audition (with the same video submission formula as for the above categories) and an audition dedicated to the finalists in attendance. The number of finalists per category will be established by the jury and communicated in good time (and in any case no later than 15 December) to the candidates who must go to Albenga, at the San Carlo auditorium in Palazzo Oddo, on 29 December 2021, to carry out the test in person.
