"Dritti all'isola"

Dritti all'Isola is back, the open water swimming event, awaited by hundreds of fearless swimmers who challenge each other over different distances from the beach of Albenga towards Gallinara Island . The 2025 edition will take place on Sunday 15 June .

Race schedule

Sunday 15th June - 5.0km route starting at 09.00
Departure from the beach at the end of Via Einaudi - Vadino region, coordinates 44°02'19.7"N 8°13'01.1"E towards Isola Gallinara for approximately 1,500m, anti-clockwise tour of Isola Gallinara and return to the starting beach;
Time limit 200 minutes.
Sunday 15th - short route 2.0km starting at 12.30
Departure from the beach at the end of Via Einaudi - Vadino region, coordinates 44°02'19.7"N 8°13'01.1"E In the direction of Isola Gallinara for approximately 1km, turn counterclockwise and return to the departure beach;
Time limit 100 minutes.
Sunday 15th - 1.0km sprint route starting at 2.10pm
Departure from the beach at the end of Via Einaudi - Vadino region, coordinates 44°02'19.7"N 8°13'01.1"E towards Isola Gallinara for about 500m, turning counterclockwise and returning to the starting beach; Time limit 50 minutes.

Registration and race pack collection

Saturday 14 June from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm registration opening and collection of chips and race pack on the beach at the end of Via Einaudi - Vadino region, coordinates 44°02'19.7"N 8°13'01.1"E;
Sunday 15 June 2025 from 7.30 to 8.30 for participants in the 5.0 km and from 7.30 to 9.30 for participants in the 2.0 km and 1.0 km beach at the end of Via Einaudi - Vadino region, coordinates 44°02'19.7"N 8°13'01.1"E.

Minor participants

Participants under the age of 18 and therefore minors, can regularly register but must be accompanied on Saturday 14th by an adult parent/guardian and deliver the duly completed waiver.
