"Wooden Slingshot" Award

2025 Edition with Leonardo Pieraccioni

The delivery of the Fionda di Legno 2025 will take place on Saturday 5 April at the Teatro Ambra, as always the coveted trophy will be delivered by Antonio Ricci .

The winner of the 2025 edition is Leonardo Pieraccioni as announced by the patron Gino Rapa: This year it will be a “light and carefree slingshot, close to the original spirit of the Fieui di caruggi, but always in the name of solidarity . Today's world is experiencing dramatic days: wars, hatred, threats, terrorism, violence everywhere. We wanted a break made of smiles, jokes, complicity. Of daily life, of small towns, of communities, of friendship and sharing .

As usual, it will be possible to reserve a numbered seat to attend the award ceremony-show with a charitable donation destined entirely to an organization or association indicated by the winner of the Fionda di Legno Award.

Why Leonardo Pieraccioni?

For his “polite and kind, but always biting, cleansed of heavy vulgarity, witty and effective” comedy . For having maintained, even after his great cinematic successes, a simple imprint and style, bringing the daily existence of the village to the screen with genuine spirit, joviality and spontaneity. For having always placed true friendship and attachment to the homeland in the foreground , especially in real life, values on which we Fieui di caruggi find the deep meaning of existence. The Fionda di legno Award goes to Leonardo Pieraccioni for his generous availability and participation in various types of charitable initiatives , from supporting the young patients of the Mayer hospital in Florence to supporting the initiatives of Cure2Children in favor of children affected by cancer or for having contributed to the construction of schools in Sierra Leone through the non-profit organization 'Solidarietà in buone mani'. Always with the awareness that ' every occasion is good to help a child '.
