Libreria Mondadori Albenga was founded in 2023 and has since organized presentations by local and international authors, both during the winter months in the bookstore itself and during the summer months in collaboration with the historic Bagni Italia beach resort. Tipografia Bacchetta is a historic company in Albenga, founded in 1929 by Pier Domenico. In 1965, with the advent of the first offset presses, Pier Vittorio Bacchetta (known as Piero) began managing the business alongside the founder's son Carlo. In the following years, the fourth generation arrived with Carlo and then Vittorio, Piero's sons. Since 2001, the company has been headquartered in its new and much larger headquarters in Regione Bagnoli (Albenga's commercial district). Currently equipped with the most modern offset and digital printing machines, it offers traditional sheet-fed printing alongside web-fed printing, used for adhesive labels without the cost of printing equipment and with high-quality finishes, from lamination to embossing.
