Urban trekking

The City of Albenga has created two itineraries dedicated to the discovery of the city and the places of San Martino, designed to accompany the visitor through the beauties and the historical, artistic and cultural heritage of the area.

Blue Route

The BLUE path   Discover and learn about the city's towers through the relationship between some of the buildings and Albenga's historic families. Created by the FAI Giovani – Albenga-Alassio group, this tour will lead you through the city's medieval towers, telling stories of architecture, traditions, and the ancient families that have shaped Albenga's life.

The journey is designed to be followed independently: thanks to the map and the in-depth information available at each stage , you can choose whether to read the contents or listen to them in the form of audio narrations , created with the voices of the readers of the APS #Cosavuoichetilegga .

The itinerary ends outside the walls , with two unmissable stops: the historic Via Julia Augusta , which offers unique views of the sea and archaeology, and the evocative Genoese Fort located in Piazza Europa.

A journey between past and present, where medieval stones intertwine with timeless panoramas.
