A sea of fitness in Albenga
From 26 to 28 June 2026, the Albenga seafront will once again be transformed into a large open-air gym with the new edition of Un Mare di Fitness , the event created with the contribution and patronage of the Municipality of Albenga and organized by Timothy Oddera and Mimma Iemma of Target Albenga, which over the years has become a point of reference for enthusiasts of sport, wellness and the outdoors.
For three days, residents, tourists, families, athletes, and the merely curious will be able to participate for free in numerous sporting activities, including Pilates, Yoga, Kangoo Jumps, Zumba, Water Cross, Fencing, Space Jump, Bushido, Kettlebells, Total Body, Kickboxing, Boxing, Fit Boxing, Water Walking, and many more, as well as shows and entertainment designed to engage people of all ages.
Among the events on the program, the Street Soccer , Street Basketball and Beach Volleyball tournaments stand out, which will see the participation of teams and enthusiasts from different local areas.
Friday, June 26
The evening will be enriched by a highly prestigious event: at 7.45 pm the Italian Savate Championships , organised by Federkombat, will take place, bringing some of the best athletes in the discipline at the national level to Albenga and deciding who will participate in the next World Championships, which will take place in Bulgaria in September.
Saturday, June 27
At 9:30 pm, elegance, sport, and fun take center stage with Mr & Miss Fitness , the competition featuring young men and women in an evening of energy and challenge. The unmissable Target Albenga fashion show will also be held, showcasing the 2026 summer sports collection.
Sunday, June 28
Starting at 9 am, the 3rd edition of the Corsa del Mare will begin, a non-competitive walk-run open to adults and children that combines sport and solidarity. All proceeds will be donated to the Gaslini Institute in Genoa for the purchase of machinery for the neuro-oncology department.
The event will close on Sunday evening at 9.30 pm with live music in concert by Amarcord , who will accompany the audience through the grand finale.
Between workouts and athletic challenges, participants will be able to recharge at the food trucks and refreshment points present throughout the three days of the event.
