Straight to the island

Back to Dritti all'Isola , the open water swimming event awaited by hundreds of fearless swimmers who challenge each other over different distances from the beach of Albenga towards Gallinara Island .

The 2026 edition will take place on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 June .

2026 Edition: the races

• Sunday 7th - 5.0km long route starting at 09.00
  Departure from the beach at the end of Via Einaudi - Vadino region, coordinates 44°02'19.7"N 8°13'01.1"E towards Isola Gallinara for approximately 1,500m, anti-clockwise tour of Isola Gallinara and return to the starting beach;
  Time limit 200 minutes.
• Sunday 7th - short route 2.0km starting at 12.30
  Departure from the beach at the end of Via Einaudi - Vadino region, coordinates 44°02'19.7"N 8°13'01.1"E In the direction of Isola Gallinara for approximately 1km, turn counterclockwise and return to the departure beach;
  Time limit 100 minutes.
• Sunday 7th - 1.0km sprint route starting at 2.10pm
  Departure from the beach at the end of Via Einaudi - Vadino region, coordinates 44°02'19.7"N 8°13'01.1"E towards Isola Gallinara for about 500m, turning counterclockwise and returning to the starting beach; Time limit 50 minutes.

Park

For athletes who will participate in the races, it is possible to park in Via Einaudi. Follow the directions here
